Mumtaz Khan is among those who have a passion to understand the Quran within the framework of contemporary knowledge. He has been following his passion for thirty-five years. He himself is a science graduate and CPA, CMA by profession. He organized The Quran & Science Thinkers Forum in Canada and in Pakistan. The objective of the forum is to explore the verses in the Quran which deal with the creation and working of the universe. A passionate researcher of the Quran & Science with the conviction that Quran as the word of God has no conflict with the Universe as the work of God. The focus of the research is on exploring signs of God in the Design and operations of the universe, and thus, enhance the understanding of the Quran through understanding the nature. He believes in empowering Muslims with the power of the Quran. There are various aspects of the universe which Mumtaz khan brought for the first time to explain various verses of the Quran. It includes six stages of the creation of the universe, seven heavens in collaboration with Dr. Munir Hassan, Tariq as quasars and its findings, universe designed as world in twin etc. Mumtaz Khan.
